Who we are
Sell My Property Online (sellmypropertyonline.co.uk) is a trading style of Simply Quote Comparison Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15008284, registered office Sentinel House, Ancells Business Park, Harvest Crescent, Fleet, GU51 2UZ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registration ZB659587) and we are the controller of the personal information described here.
What we collect
When you use our form we collect:
- About the property: postcode, first line of the address if you give it, property type, bedrooms, tenure, estimated value, how much is owed on it, condition, who lives there and whether it is on the market.
- About your situation: your main reason for selling and how quickly you need to sell. We ask only for a broad reason, and we do not ask about your health.
- About you: your name, phone number, email address and best time to call.
- Technical information: the page you started from, any campaign codes in the link you followed, and your browser type.
How we use it and why

Who we share it with
- Cash buyers on our panel. Only if you agree, and only buyers named on our buyer list who cover your postcode, up to three. Each buyer becomes a controller of your information and must give you their own privacy information when they contact you.
- Service providers who help us run the site and deliver emails, under contracts that protect your information.
- Regulators, law enforcement or courts where the law requires it.
We never sell your information to anyone who is not named on our buyer list.
How long we keep it
We keep completed enquiries for [period TBC] and unfinished enquiries for [period TBC], then delete them. We keep a record of your consent for as long as we need to show it was given.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to move it to another organisation. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@sellmypropertyonline.co.uk. Withdrawing consent stops us passing your details to anyone else, and you should also tell any buyer who has contacted you.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Storage in your browser
Our form saves your answers in your browser (local storage) as you go, so you do not lose them if you leave and come back. They stay on your device and are deleted when you submit the form or press “Start again”. See our cookie policy.
